I grew up in sunny Santa Barbara, California. After high school I spent some time in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, then moved back to California to study Fine Art at Santa Barbara City College where I received an AA in Art. I then moved to Los Angeles and attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandizing, where I received and AA in Fashion Design. I then moved back to Santa Barbara where I have remained and attended the University of California, Santa Barbara. There I studied Psychology and Fine Art, receiving a BA in Art.
I have taken up a number of different creative endeavors including painting, sewing, drawing, paper-making, sculpture, print-making, and many more over the years. I started making jewelry as a hobby a few years ago and love the hands on micro approach to working with the malleable metals and the alluring gemstones. With a background in Fashion design, I love working with fine wire, wrapping stones and utilizing bold colors. Jewelry making is a creative outlet for me and it is satisfying to see a finished product on someone enhance their beauty!
